CHASE THE CRB: HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR You're invited to a spooky night in a haunted garden filled with FREE activities for the whole family! This special evening will include a Halloween bug hunt, games, prizes, scary storytelling, talks with mad scientists, coconut tastings, and more! Hear stories about spooky critters like the Coconut Rhinoceros Beetle (CRB) and the Little Fire Ant (LFA) and how YOU can protect the environment and identify invasive species that may be crawling in your backyard. Learning about these pests, and educating family and friends will help keep these invasive species from causing real harm. As it's Stop the Ant month, bring an ant sample to be identified on the spot by experts. You'll also pick up some tips to keep your garden healthy and less scary! Come dressed in your bug or favorite Halloween costume for this special evening. The bug hunt begins at nightfall. Every child will go home with a treat and prize! The garden is next to Home Depot in Pearl City.
